RE: Problem with Owc Thunderbolt dock under Windows 7 with bootcamp
I've got an apple thunderbolt or mini display to VGA adaptor that I use sometimes on a big screan, I find I have to restart the mac book air I have if I try to plug the adaptor in to windows while it's going, for some reason it doesn't just plug and play, it does with Mac OSX but not windows and that's on my windows 10 side. But I have all the correct bootcamp drivers installed so possible I've missed something alogn the way. -Original Message- From: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com [mailto:macvisionaries@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Scott Davert Sent: Wednesday, 16 November 2016 10:46 PM To: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Problem with Owc Thunderbolt dock under Windows 7 with bootcamp So Windows 10 it is then. Re: Problem with Owc Thunderbolt dock under Windows 7 with bootcamp
Hi I too have windows running under bootcamp and I have two thunderbolt hard drives. They have never worked under windows 7 or now under windows 10. They work fine under OSX. I think its just how the bootcamp drivers are written, that as soon as you switch to windows thunderbolt is turned off.
