Are you talking about the append to clipboard feature? I know that there are several pasteboard / clipboard utilities, but I have never reviewed any of them. One could probably even create a simple AppleScript and/or automator script that gets the contents of the pasteboard, the contents of the current selection in the active window and then appends them and places the result in the pasteboard I personally have never felt much need for such a feature.
