The closest in NZ I can find to this modem router you have given me here is:

NetGear Nighthawk X4S AC2600 Modem/Router, VDSL2, Wireless AC | at Ascent
Is this the same device you have?

So right now I’m using a Night Hawk X4 8500 from Net Gear.  Supports triband 
WiFi, the ability to aggregate two of the ethernet ports, 8 antennas, and a 
nice healthy forwarding rate.  You might also want to look at one of the mesh 
systems like the Amplifi which has a few more knobs so could be customized for 
your setup.

Interesting,I have a ubiquity radio device which I used when running a network 
outside over a neighbourhood area,

I hadn’t thought of going back their for an internal wifi / wired network setup.

I’m using a fritz box 7490

I’ve just made some changes to the configuration and when I get a chance to dl 
something on the large side I’ll see if it’s changed anything.

Otherwise I might have to go hunting for the device you’ve provided
