Re: Accessibility of Hotspot Shield

2011-01-20 Thread Michael Busboom
Hi. Why could you listen to MLB streams for free from the UK? I have followed
the St. Louis Cardinals since I was a seven-year-old kid growing up near
Champaign, IL. But now I live in Austria, and if I want to listen to the
Cardinals, I have to buy a MLB subscription which, by the way, is no big deal.
But is there a way to listen to MLB games outside the States for free?

Inquiring minds ...

Mike,

You can turn your trackpad on by doing a vo and two finger clockwise gesture on
the trackpad. T turn it off, do an anti clockwise gesture with the vo keys.

Hi,
If you mean the internal trackpad of a macbook, i'm afraid you'll have to go to
the manual, as i'm clueless on that. On the magic trackpad there's a button on
the right side of the thing, press it and it'll pair.

For what I know, the problems you are having may be the result of a VO
bug. The commands to enable and disable the software functions are on the
system status bar: I mean that item you can reach by pressing VO+m+m. VO
cannot read all the items present there. For example, dropbox places an
icon there, but VO doesn't show it at all. VMWare has the same problem.
 And many other applications too.

Re: Accessibility of Hotspot Shield

Hi.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is Voxkeys? No, I didn't want to write to the
developer before proving definitively that was a Voice Over problem, not a
"Mike" problem. :)

As far as people in the States using Hot Spot Shield to listen to British
content, it apparently won't work. The server that assigns IP addresses
apparently uses American IPs.

Do you by chance have either a magic trackpad or a trackpad built-in on your
Mac? And i mean the modern ones that can do multi jestures? If so go to the
sync menu by pressing vo+m twice in rapid succession and route the mouse there
(vo+cmd+f5). Now place your finger on the trackpad and move it carefully and
slowly over the pad. VO should now read the buttons on the invisible (at least

have also downloaded HSS and i can for the life of me not find it on that row
either which escapes me why.

Re: Accessibility of Hotspot Shield

2011-01-17 Thread Michael Busboom
Dear Massimo,

This is very disturbing. Just for the fun of it, I just relaunched Hot Spot
Shield and discovered that you were right. It is indeed on the system status
bar, and I can find no way to get to it.

Thank you very much,

Mike

Re: Accessibility of Hotspot Shield

2011-01-17 Thread Michael Busboom
Hello, and thank you very much!

This is what I had suspected. Is there any other way to get to the items I
need, even if it is a hassle?

Kind regards,

Mike

For what I know, the problems you are having may be the result of a VO
bug. The commands to enable and disable the software functions are on
the system status bar: I mean that item you can reach by pressing
VO+m+m. VO cannot read all the items present there. For example, dropbox
places an icon there, but VO doesn't show it at all. VMWare has the same
problem. And many other applications too.
