Re: Making iPhone remember Bluetooth pairing

2012-01-07 Thread Paul Hunt
You want the keyboard to remember the pairing so that it will pair
automatically when you turn your keyboard on. I had this issue last week. Just
remember to pair when changing devices.

but I think that was because she changed the keyboar's batteries. Does
this problem happen all the time, or do you maybe put the phone in

of. Of course, it could be the keyboard, but I doubt that as it is
designed for the iPhone, and the keyboard model should not be able to
affect vo's ability to announce the pairing code.

Re: Making iPhone remember Bluetooth pairing

2012-01-07 Thread Michael Busboom
Alex and others, I solved the problem in a more or less indirect way.

It turns out that the Bluetooth keyboard apparently doesn't forget the pairing
code. If I hit the reset button on the keyboard after turning it on, it works
fine. I don't understand why, but I can live with this.

Thank you very much, and we'll consider the problem satisfactorily resolved.

Re: Making iPhone remember Bluetooth pairing

2012-01-06 Thread Alex Hall
There is no setting for that, alerts are always read when they appear.
By alert, I mean a popup window, not something that appears in the
status bar.
If you can, try another (different brand) keyboard and see if the same
thing happens.

Re: Making iPhone remember Bluetooth pairing

2012-01-06 Thread Michael Busboom
Hi Alex,

This happens every time I power off the iPhone and then switch it back on and
thus far, VO has never read the numbers required for pairing. I will, however,
go back into the iPhone VO settings and make sure that alerts are automatically
read.

Thanks for your input anyway.
