Re: SEE Finance, There's Hope for Us

2010-12-17 Thread Yuma Decaux
Hi,

It's an encouraging mail as there is a poor choice of finance applications. I
myself use money 3 by jumpsoft, and they have been very helpful in making small
tweaks to their interface first for getting their software to play nice with my
bank, and they have promised to increase accessibility for their next release.

Keep up with the constructive communication.

Best

Can you tell me more about Money3? What types of accounts can be tracked? I'm
hoping to settle on SEE Finance, but I'm not ready to jump on their bandwagon
just yet.

If see finance offers a budgeting capability where users could set up
their own categories and track expenses with tabular text output being
available, I'd probably buy it.On Fri, 17 Dec 2010, Les Kriegler wrote:

Re: SEE Finance, There's Hope for Us

2010-12-17 Thread Les Kriegler
Well, there is a budgeting feature and I believe one can add categories. At
this point, I don't know if one can tab around or not, however. If not, that
will be a recommendation I will offer the company. Now that we apparently have
a dialog going, I think we have a shot to get some good things done. They
stated that there are about 500 buttons throughout the program that they will
be fixing for VoiceOver use, so when the update comes out, I may have to
disable the labels I created, as I don't want to hear double reading of labels.

Les,

Please let us know what you get at the end of the week or whenever you get it.
I'm interested in getting an accessible something or other to help with
tracking finances.

Nothing is guaranteed, but the tone of their e-mail certainly gives me cause

Hi Marlaina,

I received an e-mail last Friday indicating there would be a delay in the next
release until early this week. Nothing yet, I'm thinking after Christmas, but
we'll see.
