I update my installer sticks as well. You never know when you need a quick
update to OS X somewhere.

RE: Sierra 10.12.4

2017-03-30 Thread Simon Fogarty
I try to keep my installers up to date,
However I don’t' go rushing to recreate my installer everytime there is a new
SP or update out.

I keep the most recently released .app file or DMG on an external drive, but
will happily update from the apple updates service when installing a machine
form the USB I have on me.

Did you go to the app store and search for serreia? If so, you should find it
in there.

Not sure why you would need to do this after each serreia update, ee last

Hi,

Is this even necessary to do everytime a new update is released. Is it still
possible to create a bootable mac os recovery? Recovery disk assistant use to
be able to do this, but last time I tried it I got a blank window when I opened
it. I guess this is not possible.

2017-03-28 Thread Tim Kilburn
Hi,

What you need to do if it doesn't show up in your Purchased items is do a
search for Sierra. MacOS Sierra should be the top most result, download it
from this search result. It's always the most up to date installer.

I’ll take steelhead or riverbed WAN acceleration for 400 Alex.

You can use a WAN optimizer or caching engine for this so you don’t have to
move all the bits end to end each time plus optimizing the window sizes and
such to get that data on through as fast as possible.

I peered with Apple while working at Trip Advisor just for this reason.:)

Re: Sierra 10.12.4

2017-03-27 Thread E.T.
That is the problem. I never saw a continue button anywhere so did
not actually download the file and afterwards, looked in the
applications folder and under the Purchased tab as well. No joy.

I started from updates which might be the reason.
