I try to keep my installers up to date, However I don’t' go rushing to recreate my installer everytime there is a new SP or update out. I keep the most recently released .app file or DMG on an external drive, but will happily update from the apple updates service when installing a machine form the USB I have on me. -Original Message- From: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com [mailto:macvisionaries@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of E.T. Hi, Is this even necessary to do everytime a new update is released. Is it still possible to create a bootable mac os recovery? Recovery disk assistant use to be able to do this, but last time I tried it I got a blank window when I opened it. I guess this is not possible.
