Re: Skype contacts question

2016-09-14 Thread E.T.

Jenine,
The other day I started having issues after a Skype update. Could
not see the Skype contacts no matter what I did. It finally came through
and works just fine now. Might have helped accessing Skype on the iPhone.

Question about Skype contacts.

So I have Skype contacts on my phone app, people not in my standard Contacts
app but for whom I have contacts via Skype.

Then I try to open Skype on my Mac, log in with the same info as on the phone
and those contacts are not appearing but everyone from my regular Contacts app
is.

Do I have to re-add each of these people from the phone app?

Yes, I hate Skype!

Thanks.

Well, you need to set up your events by going to preferences.
You need to interact with the toolbar, and find the notifications
button.
From there, you will see a popup button with all the events. Vo to
the right, and you will se a check box that sayd speak text. Vo space
to check that box.
Do these steps for those eventd you wish to have set.

 Hi All,

I just started using the current released version of Skype on my

VoiceOver to tell whether or not a contact is online?

Also, is there any way of hanging up a call other than using the
 call menu?

 Thanks,

RE: Skype Contacts

2009-06-08 Thread Blake Sinnett

I set up some keyboard shortcuts for certain actions in Skype. It takes a
little while to figure out exactly how the menu commands are spelled, but it's
worth it. You have to be in a Skype window to use them though. Really speeds
things up.

Simply closing the window on the call will hang it up; you'll have to
confirm, though. As far as telling when a contact is on line--mine
does this, when I'm navigating within the contacts table--how I got
this to be this way, I don't know; another persona was asking me this
 very same question
