Re: doc files in pages
Hello Lorie, You need to interact with the item named Body which is the text area. You should then be able to read the file. RE: doc files in pages
Hi Ann and all, Is there an app on Mac store that somewhat resembles the append feature in Jaws? That is perhaps the only feature that prevents me from switching over from Jaws screenreading to voiceover. I will be grateful for a reply. Take care, Hem. -Original Message- From: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Anne Robertson Sent: 10 August 2019 14:40 To: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com macvisionaries@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: doc files in pages Hello Lorie, You need to interact with the item named Body which is the text area. Re: doc files in pages
Are you talking about the append to clipboard feature? I know that there are several pasteboard / clipboard utilities, but I have never reviewed any of them. One could probably even create a simple AppleScript and/or automator script that gets the contents of the pasteboard, the contents of the current selection in the active window and then appends them and places the result in the pasteboard I personally have never felt much need for such a feature. But I expect Googling pasteboard or clipboard utility Macintosh utility should get you some results. . RE: doc files in pages
Yes, I am indeed talking about append to clipboard feature. I am not proficient enough to write Apple scripts. But I will be delighted to get my hands on an accessible clipboard app. Warmly, Hema.
