Re: epson XP530

2017-04-16 Thread Gerry Cook
it sounds as though this has been properly marked i just opened with preview
instead of adobe acrobat i’m told of another way of doing it was to export to
preview from pages if you go to the service.braun.com
you’ll find that its a poorly designed website. but
navigating is doable. quicknav may make it easier, however i never really used
it much. All the best Jonathan.

2017-04-16 Thread Jonathan Cohn
If you were asked to install Adobe Reader, then you were looking at a PDF
document. I generally find PDF documents very difficult to work with on the
Macintosh using either Preview, Safari or Adobe Reader. Especially if the PDF
file has been properly marked with accessibility tags, this information is not
usually presented to the Macintosh user.

I certainly prefer using VoiceStream for reviewing PDF's, but that is only
available on IOS machines.

Re: epson XP530

2017-04-14 Thread Georgina Joyce

Hello Gerry,

I use Safari to access that site. If you simply use the elements list. Viewing
form controls you’ll find 2 pop up buttons.

In my previous I forgot to mention System Access cloud OCR service.

Anyway, you seemed to be more obsessed with convincing yourself you’ve got the
wrong scanner.

Good luck.

Hello,

Have you checked to see if the manual is available on the web? See link below.

http://www.service.braun.com/home.asp?c=US=GB=ui

If you need to OCR it. To my knowledge Abbyy Fine Reader OCR is what we use on
the Mac platform.

Always search the web first.
