Re: ITunes U course on iPhone Application Programming [was Re: iphone app creation}

2009-10-11 Thread Maxwell Ivey Jr.

Hello; Thanks for that. When i signed up at the developers page,
they have a link to a introductory video, but half the time it locks
up. I listened to the first two parts before that happened. I've
tried going to it again with no luck. I'll try this link. I'm not
sure i want to do it either, but i have some friends who want me to at
least try. I did write the accessiblity desk to see what if anything
they could tell me about the sdk being accessible with voiceover or
not. The editing is done on the apple computer with an emulater to
test your work, or obviously i wouldn't even try. Thanks again, Max

Re: ITunes U course on iPhone Application Programming [was Re: iphone app creation}

2009-10-11 Thread Esther

A quick addition: the iTunes Store pages for iTunes U downloadable
podcasts and PDF files under iTunes 9 still have the structure that
podcasts had in iTunes 8, so there is a list view table of podcast
entries and PDF files that is like the songs table lists in your our
library -- they're not in the HTML area. That's why you need to
select tabs for the PDF files or for the video files when in the HTML
area for the Stanford University page on iPhone Application
Programming. The tab you select determines whether video files of
each class or PDF files of the slides that were shown appear in the
listed entries when you stop interacting with the HTML area and VO-
Down Arrow to the listed items. As always, you can use the context
menu (VO-Shift-M) to select the option to download.

HTH

Cheers,

Esther
