Re: importing emails from Windows

2013-03-29 Thread Georgina Joyce

Hello,

It depends upon what Windows email client being used? There are plenty
of guides on the web. If you use a client that uses mbox files you
simply use a USB storage device to transfer the files across. Or even
zip them up and email them across. If you are using something like
Outlook which uses .pst files then you need to export them to mbox format.

But you don't need an app just to copy files across. Then use the import
option of Apple's mail app.

Hi folks,

just be brought in from a website. They are physically on a windows machine.
Any ideas of good apps to try appreciated.

Hi Lisette,
What email program are you using? I was able to import all my mail without
too much trouble.
Cheers,
Scott

Re: importing emails from Windows

2013-04-01 Thread anita

Hi List,
I have e-mails in OE that I would like to import if possible. If this is
possible, what are the steps and format things need to be in, in order to be
read by my MacBook Pro? What about Favorites from IE. If someone could
tell me what needs to be done, after connecting my external drive, it'd be
greatly appreciated! Running Windows XP Home with Service Pack 3 on one
desktop and another laptop. Got another Toshiba laptop running Win 7 64 byte
Home Premium Edition.

   Thanks,
   Anita
