Hi Lou and all,

I may have a work-around, but I need to know how to perform a right-click.  
Does anyone know how to do this?  Apple has *really dropped the ball on this 
one, I'm kind of disgusted.

depending on where you are, you have the option of VO - SHIFT - M as a right 
click alternative.

The keyboard and trackpad equivalent of right click is Control-Click where you 
hold down the Control key and click with the trackpad.

 this may actually be an issue with the media. as you're running lion, I've 
 heard of issues like this before and if memory serves me right, the only 
 way to bypass this is a complete manual extraction.
 
 just thinking something... that as OS X 10.7 has completely eliminated the 
 use of PowerPC code, apple's installer may be at fault.
 
 can you retry the installation and email me back? if you have skype and 
 can do screen sharing, I may be able to help that way.
