I just did this with wikipedia and google opened at the same time and  
had no problem.

There are several things you can do. First, repair disk permissions.
Press Command-Shift-u to go to the Utilities folder, then press "dis"  
for Disk Utility.
Select your internal hard drive in the list, then navigate right to  
First Aid. Select that, then press VO-Space bar on Repair Disk  
Permissions.
This can take several minutes, but it is something you should do every  
time you install a new application.

If this doesn't fix your problem, you should try zapping the PRAM. To  
do this:
Shut down your computer, then hold down Command-Option-p-r and keeping  
them held down, press the Power key and let it go. Keep the other four  
keys held down until you have heard the startup chime four times, then  
let the machine boot normally.

Ask again if you need more help.
