Nope its not the ram. My mac has 4 gb of ram and it is still quite slow. it is the quicknav. Turn it off and it works better. William, what are you talking about "voiceOver being so damn slow"? I haven't noticed any sluggishness when arrowing up and down through the message list, either with the VO keys or with the standard arrows.
