Yes i have them checked to be seen. Hi, If the device is not showing up on your Desktop, then it is likely in the Sidebar of open windows. Myself, I prefer to have all internal and external HDs, connected Servers and other ejectable media to be visible on my Desktop. It's just what I got used to in the old days of the MacOS. You can set these preferences by going to your Desktop then pressing cmd-comma which will bring up your Finder Preferences. Later...
