Sharing Apps Between IPhone and IPad

2011-04-05 Thread Kevin Mattingly
Can you share apps from one device to another? Say I pay for the RFBD app, can
I put that on my IPad too or do I have to pay for it again?

Re: Sharing Apps Between IPhone and IPad

2011-04-05 Thread Tim Kilburn
Hi,

As long as the app is both an iPhone and iPad app, then you can place them on
both your devices. If both these devices are syncing to your Mac and if they
were purchased under the same iTunes Store account, then you can put them on
both devices. As a matter of fact, if you also had an iPod Touch and the app
was compatible, you could sync it there as well.

Later...

Re: Sharing Apps Between IPhone and IPad

2011-04-05 Thread Chris Moore
Kev,

One of the wonderful abilities of being locked into the iOS ecosystem is that
you buy an app once and it is available to every device that uses the same
iTunes account. So in answer to your question, YES! :)

Hopefully one day Apple will be able to extend this to music and video too.

Thanks
