Re: Should I trade in my MacBook Pro Intel fore a M1 Mac?

2021-06-04 Thread 'Jason White' via MacVisionaries
The reviews of the M1 hardware that I have read are overwhelmingly
positive, so I'm tempted to buy. I wouldn't wish to run Windows on it,
so that's a non-issue. My current Mac is a late 2013-model MacBook Pro.
I'll wait to find out what new products are released later this year,
then decide whether to purchase or not.

many devices over more years than I care to remember. This is the first laptop

for roughly three hours, and I still show 94% battery remaining. As for the
temperature of the unit, it's as cool as a cucumber. So if finances are not an

Re: Should I trade in my MacBook Pro Intel fore a M1 Mac?

2021-06-02 Thread 'Tim Kilburn' via MacVisionaries
Hi,

Off topic to the question, but eMail addresses are not necessarily hidden.

• open a message by pressing return on it.
• navigate around the window until you hear “Message Headers” and interact with
it.
• navigate within the Message Header area and you should hear a section that
announces the sender’s name, the subject and the recipient, as in
MacVisionaries. Interact with this.
• navigate to the sender’s name and VO-space on it.

A menu should pop up with items such as Copy Address and the sender’s actual
address. There are still some situations where specific mail clients keep this
hidden, but I am able to determine most sender’s eMail address using this
method.

Later…

Should I trade in my MacBook Pro Intel fore a M1 Mac?

2021-06-02 Thread maurice mines
Good morning everyone my subject line says it all. I also have hey 2015 MacBook
Pro that I just wanted to get out of here. It was retired last year because it
was thought that the battery is swelling. But it was never really confirmed
because of the pandemic. Now that the Apple Store is now fully Open. Hi I have
been discussing with Apple what kind of trade it in value, would these two
computers have? I know that running Windows as a Guest operating System would
not be possible. This beginning two not be a issue. The reason why is Windows
based Systems are increasingly being hacked. I thank it is Time two abandon
Windows completely. Any thoughts?

Please note that I I am using apples built-in dictation software. I hope that
this message is readable?

Sincerely Maurice Mines.
