Skype question and test message.

2013-01-18 Thread Daniel Miller
Hi,

First off, I'm not sure if all my messages are going through, so getting a
reply on this would be awesome. *smile*
Secondly, I have a question about Skype. When you command+tab away from the
app, it constantly says "Skype has new window." How do you get that to stop?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, First, I got this message.

With respect to your Skype issue, Are you using Growl? IF so, you might want
to go in to your Skype prefs window, from there, click on the notifications tab
and from there make sure that Growl is selected. I just use the regular
notification display and have my default voice tell me what's going on through
Skype itself. I only get the "new window" thing when I first sign in.

Sincerely,
The Constantly Barefooted Ray

I'm not using Growl. I have the show visual notifications checkbox unchecked.

Re: Skype question and test message.

2013-01-18 Thread Daniel Miller
Hi,

I fixed the issue. If you go into preferences, calls, and uncheck show current
calls when Skype is in the background, it'll fix the issue.
