And honestly from all I have been reading, a lot will depend on the apps your running and it was further explained that most users wouldn't notice any difference if SL was running 32 or 64 bit. It gets a bit complicated. Other than Apple's XServe boxes I believe all Macs will be running 32-bit kernels due to the extensible firmware interface being 32-bit.
