Re: Something weird in iTunes 11.02

2013-02-23 Thread Lisette Wesseling
Hi Marcia
I'm not having that problem myself. VO reads my podcast descriptions fine.
I navigate to them in the table where all the other info is about time and
release date.
The incorrect reporting of unplayed podcasts is the only issue I've noticed.
Sorry you're having that difficulty.

And another issue with podcasts in this new version: has anyone else noticed
that VoiceOver will no longer read the description of an individual episode,
something which it did in the last version?

Hi
I just updated to this latest version, and now iTunes tells me I have 566
unplayed podcasts. This is simply not true, even knowing the back log of
podcasts I have to get through. Has anybody else noticed this? behaviour? It
seems to be misreporting this somehow. Everything else is working as normal.
Thanks.

Hi Israel
Yes, it seems to now count podcasts you haven't downloaded yet as unplayed. I'm
glad I'm not the only one (smile). I'll let you know if I find any setting to
change this back to how it was before.

Lisette,

I noticed that too. I played with iTunes searching for a way to change that,
but no luck so far. Even podcasts which I've not yet downloaded are marked as
unplayed as well as being labeled undownloaded.
