Re: Trying to install windows on bootCamp

2021-04-15 Thread Steve Z.
Hi Jonathan and Robert,
While they installation of windows, narrator speaks just fine from the
speakers. After that, it speaks and at sometime it stops. I didn’t try out
headphones after that. I don’t have USB soundcard though.
Thank you very much
Steve

Do you have a USB sound card to use until the sound drivers are installed?
Also try headphones.

Re: Trying to install windows on bootCamp

2021-04-15 Thread Jonathan Cohn
I have never run Bootcamp partitions, but I believe you must first install the
bootcamp drivers on the Windows system before sound can work.
HTH!

Best wishes,

Jonathan Cohn

Trying to install windows on bootCamp

2021-04-14 Thread Steve Z.
Hi list,
I would like your help with this. I try to install windows 10 on bootcam and it
doesn’t seem to work right. So, I go on BootCamp application and with cited
guide, because it does not work for Big Sur, I make the partition. I install
the windows and up to now everything seems to be OK. When running windows after
finishing with the installation, it’s starting loading them and stops asking me
to choose operating system. It gives me two options. Windows 10 from disc five,
I don’t know where the heck finds this disk 5, and Windows 10. When I choose
windows 10, it’ll boots. When I choose windows 10 from disc five, it is loading
the windows with the narrator running, but I can not hear anything. Even when I
turn off and again on generator, a sound doesn’t come out.
could anybody explain to me the procedure step-by-step please?
Thanks in advance
Steve
