Re: Unable to back up iPhone, because “some files are not available“
Thanks for the suggestions. I doubt his iCloud is full, because it seems to me that when my iCloud was almost full, I got a message. And he hasn’t had any such messages. He also doesn’t have a Mac, which is where I ran into trouble with the iCloud in the 50 GB plan. Anyway, I’m forwarding all suggestions. Thanks. Mary, Is his iCloud full? What about logging out of iCloud and back in. If all else fails, contact Apple support. Unable to back up iPhone, because “some files are not available“
I’m sending this on behalf of a friend. He has been unable to back up his phone since December of last year. When he tries, he gets a message back that says that some files are not available. And then the whole back up aborts. This is using iCloud. He has emptied his abs switcher and restarted his phone all to no avail. It’s plugged in and on Wi-Fi. No luck. Any ideas?
