Re: Using Keynote

2020-09-21 Thread Kerryann Ifill
Hi Julie:

I wanted to add a track to play throughout the presentation, but I’ve also been
trying to add YouTube videos but with no joy.

Any suggestions would be helpful

Kerry

The person who learned KeyNote took a three-day course with us to learn not
just KeyNote, but Pages and Numbers as well, at least enough for his business
needs.

We also offer training via Skype.

We're based in France, near Paris.

Please contacct me off list if you need further information.

Cheers,

Do you have to send this presentation to someone, or will you deliver it in
person? This makes all the difference to the way you arrange it.

If you have to send it to someone, choose a theme in keeping with the
situation. You haven't explained the purpose of this presentation, but if it is
an application for a job, choose a theme to suit the company profile.

In the Toolbar, you'll find a menu button labeled Masters. Click this and
you'll find a selection of slide types, some of which include photos.

Don't put too much text into one slide, wordy presentations are boring.

How can I get pictures into the document itself?

Choose a slide type that provides for a picture and paste it in.

This is a very sketchy explanation. It took two full days of training to teach
a totally blind person to put together a professional presentation that
included quite a few pictures.

Cheers,

Anne

Hello Anne,

My presentation must include two pictures along with a biography,
motivations, something interesting about myself, and my future
plans. Would it be a good idea to discuss these items in their
own separate slides? How can I get pictures into the document
itself?

Thanks,

From: Anne Robertson Can you lovely people please help me with the basics of creating
PowerPoint presentations using KeyNote? I've never created a
presentation before.

I'm afraid the answer is much too complicated to put into an
e-mail message. Most people take a course to learn how to do
presentations.

Have you listened to the VoiceOver On podcast that covered this?
It might at least give you some idea.

I can tell you that it's perfectly possible to create
presentations in KeyNote using VO.

Will your presentation include pictures or graphics? Or will it
just be text?

Cheers,

Anne
