yep it never worked for me at all.

Looks like we need to report another issue to apple. I'm sure they are sick of 
hearing from me. lol!

VO and spell checker bug in safari fixed.

Hi all,
Just to let you all know that VO now brings up the menu of corrections for a 
misspelled word when you use VO+shift+m  in edit boxes in Safari, after you use 
command+semicolon.  This bug was fixed either in mac os X 10.6.4 or Safari 5.
I asume this will also work if you have "check spelling while typing" enabled.
