Re: VirtualBox questions

2016-03-19 Thread 'Chris Blouch' via MacVisionaries

There is a build for Mac which you can download from:

https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

The virtual machine will work just like a physical machine so the
accessibility of what is running in the virtual machine is the same. If
you're installing Windows in the Virtual Machine you'll still need NVDA
or JAWS installed in the virtualized Windows. You can create and start
up the virtual machine using the command line and there are tutorials
floating around on how to do that, so you can otherwise ignore the
inaccessible GUI interface.

Last I looked into this, box was not accessible when using the GUI, but

scripts to build / start / stop VM machines. For that matter, somebody with a
little Xcode experience could probably wrap those CLI commands in native OS X
windows that Voice Over would understand.

Hello,
I have a few questions before diving into VBox.
1. Is there a build for el capitan, or do I need to build from sources?

2. Is the GUI accessible with VO?

3. Assuming I can build a virtual machine either with the GUI or box-manage,
will it talk?

4. How is the VBox experience compared to Fusion?
