The expectation is the desktop/laptop will fade over time such that continuously connected devices will be our main means of consumption and composition. He's right, it is very easy to set up. Do most of it from your phone, but you can also do stuff fairly easily from the watch. I haven't had much time tonight, so mostly just focused on getting everything paired up, and doing some tweaking of settings. Looking forward to putting it through its paces tomorrow.
