Yosemite updating weirdness?
Hi, folks. I just successfully restarted and installed all software updates for my Macbook Pro15 (circa 2008). However, when I look in menu/apple/about this mac, it says Software version 8.5. ... Isn't Yosemite 10.9? However, the behavior of Safari has changed. When I try to access my bank account at USBank.com, when I get to the password page, Safari says, Failed to open page: Too many redirects occurred when trying to open this page. I'm not sure what exactly's going on here; any ideas? How could the installer run and re-log-in without doing the upgrade? Why has Safari's behavior changed about my bank's website? Re: Yosemite updating weirdness?
I ran Software Update again, and even though it said, An error has occurred, I hit the free upgrade, button, and now Appstore reports that it will take 7 hours, 15 minutes to complete the download. *shrug* it's a rainy day ... * Mark BurningHawk Baxter http://MarkBurningHawk.net/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MacVisionaries group.
