Re: help comparing specs of 13-inch MBA and new 13-inch MBP

2017-06-06 Thread Donna Goodin
Thank you, Tim! I thought I was losing it.

I was looking at this site while listening to the WWDC event. I guess my brain
is only capable of so much multi-tasking. lol Turns out I was comparing the
Air with the MacBook, not the MBP. Thanks for putting me on the right track.
Cheers,
Donna

2017-06-06 Thread Tim Kilburn
Hi,

I'm not sure that I see what you're speaking of. All the MBP's have faster
processors than the MBA's that I saw on this page. The MacBook itself has a
higher price tag than the MBA, but includes the Forced Touch Trackpad, it's
lighter and probably a few other things that I can't recall. The MBP's tend to
have better displays, more cores in their processors, the TouchBar and Touch ID
and such.

Hope that makes sense.

Hi all,

I'm comparing specs between the 13-inch MBA and the new 13-inch MBP, and I'm
perplexed. The MBP has the higher price tag, but appears to come with slower
processors. Is this right, or am I missing something? Here's the link I'm
