2011-01-06 Thread Mark BurningHawk Baxter
Maybe we could create an accessibility inspection position at Apple to vet apps
for accessibility before they went into the app store? I'd love to do that. :)
I got my account set up and downloaded a free app, "Swackett," a sorta
soccer-mom weather app but it's kinda neat if you want super-complicated
forecasts. It's maybe 95% accessible, with some unlabeled buttons and some
advertisement frames as well.

I've had a quick play, and it looks excellent.
Now, like the iDevice app store, to work out which apps are going to be
accessible. :)

I wonder if maybe there could be a section created on applevis for mac apps?

I have a suspicion that like the iDevice app store, the mac app store
will become somewhat of an addiction for me. :),

My thoughts exactly. I came across two apps that may or may not be interesting,
One was called Mixmeister Express and the other one was Megaseg DJ, but both
had a price tag of 519 Swedish crowns which made me think that it was too bad
you couldn't get a trial, because if you can't use it due to VO issues, well
i've paid unnecessarily.
