nice VST plugins for Garage band?
Hi everyone, I've started messing around with my midi controllers, in conjunction with garage band, and was wondering if anyone had some links to some good vst plugins for garage band. I've tried going to the native instruments site, but their page seems to be flash. No show, no good. ANyone got something here that might spark more juice? I'm especially looking for some plugins that would emulate the legendary Rhodes synth, and perhaps some other plugins with effects i can map to my midi controller knobs for some realtime mixing bliss. Any help appreciated, Thanks, and best Yuma Decaux Light has no value without darkness Skype: shainobi1 blog: www.theblindsamurai.com twitter: www.twitter.com/triple7 Tel: +85513623378 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MacVisionaries group. Re: nice VST plugins for Garage band?
Hi Does Garageband now support VST? It didn't as of iLife 08 which is what I'm still using. If the newest version does support VST I think I've just found a very compelling reason to upgrade it. There was, at one time, a VST adapter for Garageband that would make VST instruments appear as Audio Units (which Garageband supports). However, I can't seem to find any updated info on it or an active link, what I do find dates back to the days of the PPC Macs. Re: nice VST plugins for Garage band?
Last I heard GarageBand still didn't support VST, but there appears to be a wrapper called Adapt which will make Garage band swallow a VST plugin. It's listed as $99 but might be cheaper via some other reseller. CB http://www.fxpansion.com/index.php?page=5tab=22 Jake wrote: Hi Does Garageband now support VST?
