question about Qcast
Has anyone used the podcast application from the q-continuum web site? I just downloaded it, and when it opened, all it says is Cast has no windows. How do I go any further in this app? I brought up the menu and there are no options past the Qcast menu option. Any ideas? Again, this comes from the developer of Hope for Pandora and Chicken Nugget for twitter. Thanks to the person who recommended Yorofukoru. Now if I could just find an app to use Facebook successfully. Also, did someone mention an app called Hermes that worked well for Pandora? I didn’t see anything about this app in the Mac app store. Thanks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MacVisionaries group. Re: question about Qcast
Hi Juliet, Command S should let you search for podcasts. It may be worth restarting to see if you get any more contents as I’m fairly sure it should have some windows even before you’ve downloaded or subscribed to something. question about QCast
I was just trying to download the podcast application for the Mac from q-continuum.net. But every time I download, and then try to install the application onto the computer, VoiceOver gives me a warning that the file is damaged and that I must eject the disc image manually. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MacVisionaries group. Re: question about QCast
I had a similar problem with another app and despite multiple re-downloads I also could not shake off this error message. It appears that Yosemite does not like some dmg downloads. If it helps I think I have the QCast dmg somewhere which I could upload to Sendspace. Luckily in relation to QCast for me personally it has come into Yosemite for me OK as I upgraded. rather than did a fresh install. Unfortunately the companion app to QCast, QFeed is not working as it should under Yosemite on the mac and the App Developer has completely ignored my attempts to bring this to his attention. This is disappointing as I recommended the app under Mavericks. I am not convinced by Continuum's commitment to supporting the Mac platform therefore under Yosemite and the longer term. Re: question about QCast
Yes, I would agree that this is very disappointing. This is a brand new Mac, and as someone who enjoyed using both QCast and QFeed on my PC, I was looking forward to doing the same on my Mac. We were even lucky that he offered Mac versions for those two apps as Hope and QRead and Chicken Nugget do not have Mac versions. Maybe I will try Downcast. Re: question about QCast
Hi, Allowing apps from anywhere to be installed should fix this. Re: question about QCast
I actually recommend downcast over qCast. On Nov 12, 2014, at 12:13 PM, Edward Green ergreen1...@gmail.com wrote: Hi, Allowing apps from anywhere to be installed should fix this.
