I'd like some recommendations for a good USB mic for my MBP. I don't have a mixer currently and don't plan to get one just yet but need a decent mic. Thanks. The one most of us on SPN use is the ATR2100, which has a different model number now. It's around $50 and will connect either via USB or XLR cables, and also has a headphone jack so you can monitor its output. The ATR-2100 still exsists. I think the popularity of the 2100 in the podcasting community helped drive that price back up there. The camera connector, I misspoke there. I've been told that it will work with the iPhone 5S with the camera connector, but, I've never tried it.
