Yeah, if you have the pro version, and you want to record in m4A, or Apple's other propriatary formats, then Quicktime will work. Audasity will work, kind of, ish, again, depending on what you wanna do. If you want to just say loddie daa in your mike and save it to an mp3, then audasity will work fine.
