hi all,

Is there a way to send an email which posts a tweet via the iPhone or OSX? I 
used to pay for a service called Tweetymail, but it got cumbersome and 
expensive, and it caused a lot of issues back in the day.

I'm not aware of anything, Ben.  If you don't mind me asking, is there a reason 
you don't wish to use an actual app?  I'm just trying to understand, so as 
maybe better able to help.

it's because I hear that Facebook has a way to do it. I totally agree that the 
use of an app is preferred.

Actually? Ben?  I just thought a something.

Why not set up a dedicated Facebook push e-mail address through Cox, or the 
like.  Then, use IFTTT to say, when X e-mail account gets an e-mail, post sed 
body to Facebook.

my friend yvonne garris says that if you have a blog or website and use jet 
pack which is a free plug in you can do posts via email to your blog and to all 
the major social media networks. you can also schedule them in advance or so 
she tells me. don't know more but thought this might point one of you in the

I use Jetpack all the freaking time, and love it!  One of the fav Wordpress 
plugins I use.  Go Wordpress!  Anyway, I don't totally think that's gonna help 
in this case.  I think for what Ben's trying to do, IFTTT's the way to go.
