[maemo-developers] incompatible package

2006-07-11 Thread slinsner
Hi,

I compieled a progam and built a armel.deb package within my scratchbox.
But whenever I try to install it on my n770, I get the message Incompatible
package.

Does anybody know what went wrong?

Thanks,

[maemo-developers] (no subject)

2006-07-11 Thread slinsner
Hi,

I've got another question:

Yesterday I installed scratchbox 0.9.8.8 and maemo 2.0. Then I tried to start
emulator within SDK_ARMEL and with Xephyr. But by clicking on the task launcher
button, the emaltor crashed down and I got following error message:

maemo-launcher: child (pid=25027) exited due to exit()=245
matchbox-wm: X error warning (0xa0002c): BadWindow (opcode: 12)
matchbox-wm: X error warning (0xa0002c): BadWindow (opcode: 12)
matchbox-wm: X error warning (0xa0002c): BadWindow (opcode: 25)

What can I do to solve this problem?

Thanks,
Shara

You very likely need to give it a proper Section: field. See

http://maemo.org/platform/docs/howtos/howto_making_an_application_package.html

Whenever you run into weird behavior of the Application manager, you
should look into Tools Log. There you might find additional
 developer friendly information.

2006-06-22 Thread slinsner
Hi,

I've installed scratchbox-0.9.8 and maemo2.0, but I coudn't launch xterm in
target SDK_ARMEL. I always get following output:

hn-wm.c:302,hn_wm_top_service() ### Failed to read memory limits, using
scratchbox ??

'com.nokia.xterm' is watchable
hn-wm.c:1225,hn_wm_dbus_method_call_handler() Showing Launchbanner...

Does anybody know what went wrong?

[maemo-developers] osso-email

2006-03-02 Thread slinsner
Hi,

I just compiled osso-email and everything worked fine.

But it isn't possible to create a new account. When ever I tried to create a
new
account osso-email got stuck in setup step 4. There I can only choose between
back and advanced, if I select advanced I can make some changes (if I
want), but no matter if I select ok or cancel, I return to step 4. So it is
impossible to finish the setup.
(By the way it is impossible to close the setup-window or to finish osso-email.
The only possiblility is to kill the whole process.)

Is there any way to get this working?

Thanks
