hi,

vpnc is an restricted user-space ipsec client, i.e.

1. it doesn't support 'real' ipsec, just the insecure xauth stuff
2. it works without kernel modules, see the InstallVPNC wiki page

Are you working on an vpnc port? I'd be very interested, as I'd need
that for my university WLAN.
