Diablo auto-builder: broken
Hi, There is a problem in the auto-builder. .. Selecting previously deselected package debianutils. (Reading database ... 6962 files and directories currently installed.) Unpacking debianutils (from .../debianutils_2.29maemo2_armel.deb) ... dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/debianutils_2.29maemo2_armel.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite `/usr/sbin/add-shell', which is also in package passwd Errors were encountered while processing: /var/cache/apt/archives/debianutils_2.29maemo2_armel.deb E: Sub-process /scratchbox/devkits/debian-etch/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) [2009-02-21 17:16:42] Cleaning up... [2009-02-21 17:16:43] Removing temporary target... [2009-02-21 17:16:46] Done. It seems that there is a conflict between passwd and debianutils packages. Please let me know when it works again. You mean _i_ killed the autobuilders? I know that the first upload attempt returned with a failure. You already told me that this happens since the order i upload the files in isn't perfect. The problem: I use dput and i don't think i can/should try to influence this. Anyway, after the dput returned an error i immediately tried again. But i think sometimes get build although dput returned an error. So i might have been uploading the second time while the build was running. May that be related to the problem? Hi, maybe it would be good to automatically kill any build process that takes longer than, say, an hour. Hi, It looks like libxerces was stuck in some kind of endless build loop. After I killed that build, everything in the queue started to build again. Hi, any news on this? I have a bunch of things in that queue. Unfortunately with the chinook autobuilder choking on libxerces and with the diablo builder not working at all i am kind of stuck in the middle of migrating the harbaum.org repository to extras-devel. I also wonder if i'll have to upload anything a second time or if the queued packages will be processed later.
