Thomas, that is good news. I will look first if I can access the headset button from python, then I look at more detail into recaller. I collected three links which refer to getting access to the headset button. Hello, I am looking for a recorder which is able to start recording and stop recording when the button at the headset is pressed. Usecase: phone is somewhare in the pocket and I want to do recording. I did not see an app able to do this. Now I am wondering how much effort it would be to create a simple app like this myself (I am a programer, have scratchbox setup, but no hildon and codec experience).
