Re: Missing Hildon include files?
While I don't know whether you're using the low-level C API or some of the higher-level bindings, here are some pointers: The low-level API documentation: http://dbus.freedesktop.org/doc/dbus/api/html/index.html Links to the various bindings and information about them (including API docs): http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/DBusBindings On 9/20/07, David Hazel <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Is there any online documentation for the DBUS API? RE: Missing Hildon include files?
Thanks for the suggestion. Does the name I pass to dbus_bus_name_has_owner need to be "osso_browser", or OSSO_BROWSER_SERVICE, to determine whether the Browser is running? Is there any online documentation for the DBUS API? I was trying to pick my way through the include files the other day, for just this purpose, but the function names tell me almost nothing about what they do, and there are no comments in the header files to help me. I couldn't find any documentation for them. I wonder why the osso-manager.h function is documented among the rest of the Maemo APIs, if it is not intended for general use? There should at least be a note somewhere saying that it is for internal use.
