every Maemo and Internet Tablet related software projects to join.

It looks nice. I especially noticed the Code Snippets section,
which I haven't noticed before on other hosting sites. Is this a new
idea? I expect it will be excellent for collecting useful bits of
scripting language code. Does the package building option here
produce a package that can be directly installed on the device? And
if so, are those packages for the 2005 OS or for 2006?

Code Snippets is part of GForge nowadays, so all credit goes to the
GForge team. The package building does not produce installable packages,
but it is a good idea and we should consider it.

We would welcome all improvement ideas and maybe together we could
develop a bunch of new plugins to garage (and GForge) ;)

Ferenc

MoinMoin wiki is ok. Would you also consider switching MoinMoin to
MediaWiki http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki at this point in time.

I would be very happy with that. I must confess I am somewhat biased,
but I think MediaWiki is much easier to use and pages tend to look
better in the long run.

Thanks. Once everyone moves Maemo code to the gForge site that you have
set up, then it will be easier to find applications.

Thank you for all the support you have given to us during this year!

If you were worried about using a database with a wiki and selected
MoinMoin because it was file based, then you may want to consider
mediawiki with the advent of the garage. MoinMoin was the first wiki I
ever used. However, MoinMoin seems limited in the type of documentation
that can be produced by it. Thanks for listening to the suggestion.

Thanks,
Greg

Database? It only supports mysql, which I wouldn't call a database, it's
more like a fast way of loosing your data ;)
