We are not completely sure, why the X-Server does not work, but we assumed that 
it could be a problem that it includes some assembly code, which doesn't run on 
an older ARM. You could try to rebuild it as suggested. If you succeed you 
might be able to run it. But you would have to try it, we cannot guarantee that 
it will work ;)

you might run into those problems because Diablo has an OMAP2420 processor, 
which has an ARM1136 core. This means that anything (might be something in the 
X-Server) which is ARM specific is optimized for the newer ARM. You could try 
to rebuild the X-Server from the sources. But then is the question if the 
Diablo SDK is the right choice for it. Maybe another toolchain could be better. 
If you want to use that, you should consider to use at least other options for 
the CPU target.

about x-server on maemo

Dear all:
this is my first mail on maemo mail list, very happy to join here!
I want run maemo on my arm9 platform, and I used diablo. but I can't
run x server that place on pool, how can I do it? or I need build X sets by
myself use scratchbox? anybody can help me to answer this difficult problem
