Set it for 20 and next time it refreshes if there are 3 new articles it will show them + 17 old articles. Re: [maemo-users] Warranty void with third party software!?!?
This is NOT the case. If you want to be sure, please call Nokia. Here is the important string of messages you missed in the other thread. It's partly my fault you missed his response as Ifailed to reply all, sending once to the list and once to Ero. His response was to me, not the list, so only showed up as a quote in my next reply to the list. Also note the discussion was about heavy modification such as /deleting important system files/, not simply installing extras, and the result below is that you mght not get technical /support/ unless you reflash to factory, but your warranty is still good. Again, call Nokia if you are not satisfied and report back. I could see Nokia refusing to help (ie phone support) if I've customized the software too much, but I would also expect them to point me to the Windows flasher "upgrade" utility and tell me to update and see if the issue goes away. It's like Palm telling everyone to do a Hard Reset over the phone, but they'll still replace a unit for free if the Wifi radio is bad. Thanks, that sounds right. :-) Sorry about giving a scare, English (lawyerese) is not my native tongue. If I loose my ability to recover loss due to defective hardware I will be quite dismayed and will probably never buy Nokia again. Someone please tell me promptly that this is not the case.
