Re: 4 gig SD
Does anyone know if I can use two 4GB SanDisk SD cars on N800 ?! One thing more... does anyone know if it is better to use SD cards or MMC cards ?! Anyone know if they will work in the 800? I just received two of these. Stuck one in the removable slot to replace a 2 gig. I haven't put anything on it, but it says I have 3.82 gig available there. Some cards indeed may work, but not all of them. I played safe by getting two 2 GB cards. What to do with over 7 gig of extra storage? LOL :). I would have plenty of use for them, both my 2 GB cards are already full - I am using the N800 (also) as music player. I have also transferred images from my N93 occasionally to the device and also of course use the cards for storage of PDFs, etc. Best Wishes Karoliina ___ maemo-users mailing list maemo-users@maemo.org https://maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-users ___ maemo-users mailing list maemo-users@maemo.org https://maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-users
Re: N800 inflight!
Good luck on your trip and tell us how the N800 works for you. I have just landed back home, after a weeks worth of hopping around the US (Glasgow - Amsterdam - SF - Dallas - Chicago - Dublin - Glasgow) and i will write up a blog about my experience; let me just say, it isn't as positive as some of the experiences here. I would have been seriously in trouble had it been the only device with me. Once i get the email fires dealt with, i'll blog with full details. thanks -- Alan Williamson a wiki -and- a blog @ http://www.Blog-City.com/ b: http://alan.blog-city.com/ ___ maemo-users mailing list maemo-users@maemo.org https://maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-users

Newbie question: Flashing N800
I've downloaded the flasher and the new RX-34_2007SE_3.2007.10-7_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin from Nokia. According to the info on http://maemo.org/development/documentation/how-tos/3-x/howto_use_flasher_rootfs_bora.html the file I have to falsh to the N800 is called Maemo_Dev_Platform_rootfs.jffs2. What am I missing? Do I need to unpack the file from Nokia? Could I destroy my N800 by flashing it with the wrong file? -- Med venlig hilsen/Kind regards Michael B.
