It only barfs on video that there is no codec support for. I found the Media Streamer to be fairly confusing compared to the simplicity of the Media Player. Look at http://www.gizmoproject.com/. Its the only client that I found on the N800 that supports video to a Windows box. Oh, sorry, you meant on the N800. If you are running OS2008, click the N810 Download link. So, the entire project was thrown off kilter. I really, really hope that experience will not be repeated here. My experience with Nokia is otherwise positive, but (making a bit of a quantum leap) I hope that QTopia will be offered as an alternate, not a replacement to Maemo. QTopia is a lot more traditional PDA based and I'm not sure I would like to end up with that as an upgrade path. Changing ESSID
Hi list.
How can I change the wireless access point via programming code in
maemo platform? I have the following piece of code that works
perfectly in my laptop, but when used in maemo, the wlan0 interface
disconnect but not reconnect to the new ESSID.
Any suggestion? Thanks

Hi, I did some searching on the archives, but got no result. Please tell me how to create a shortcut for my app after I install it? By default, it should goes to Extras menu. How can I customize it? Oops, I got it. It described here: http://maemo.org/development/documentation/tutorials/maemo_4-0_tutorial.html#Menus After creating the deb file, I fakeroot install it, then restart maemo.
