Re: N810 Bluetooth RFComm
If you have any solution, i m looking around too. hcitool and rfcomm was present in OS2007, and work relatively well. I ve successfully use it with python. I ve problem too with python and bluetooth too. I've bought a Parani-SD100 Bluetooth device from Lemos which simply converts RS232 traffic onto Bluetooth using SSP. I've been able to pair the Parani-SD100 device to the N810. On the N810 I get the following info concerning the attached device: Device Name: PSD100v1.0.2-06CF88 Device Type: Uncategorised Supported profiles: SPP Lemos device page: http://www.lemosint.com/scripts/bluetooth_parani_sd.asp My questions is, how can I connect to the stream coming over the RS232 port? The command hcitool and rfcomm don't seem to be present on the N810. I don't see any additional Bluetooth apps I can add either. I'm a bit at a loss as to what to do next. Re: micro SDHC to mini SDHC adapter/extender
I ve bought an 6GB SDHC Sandisk micro sdhc card, and i use it with a standart (non sdhc) micro to mini selled with a 512MB kingston micro sd to mini sd card adaptator. Adaptators are just a piece of pvc which bind the pins. As SDHC and SD use the sames pins... it s work. From what I can tell there are no 8G mini SDHC cards. (I have not been able to find any by googling.) And while I have found 8G class 4 micro SDHC cards, none seem to come with micro to mini adapter/extenders. (They come with adapters/extenders to full size SDHC.) I've only found smaller capacity memory cards with micro to mini adapters/extenders. And I've not been able to find a way to purchase just a micro to mini adapter/extender without a memory card. Is there any difference between the micro to mini adapter/extender for SDHC cards vs. non-HC SD cards? If I purchase a small capacity microSD that comes with a micro to mini adapter/extender (just to get the adapter/extender) will it work with an 8G microSDHC card in the N810? Or can anybody tell me where I can by just the adapter/extender? Or where I can buy an 8G class 4 miniSDHC card? Or where I can buy buy an 8G class 4 microSDHC card that comes with a micro to mini adapter/extender? Planet Post : Midgard and the Law of Karma ...
Hi, I've just see the post on the maemo planet Midgard and the Law of Karma. Great news ! (http://maemo.org/profile/list) But i think it's need some adjustment. Why ? I'm in the top 25 with a Karma of 116 :) I'm happy to see me in the top 25. I think some of my products can be usefull, specially for developpers, but some others people made greats products for all user of the maemo tablet, like 'David Hautbois'. He ve created 'Ermining', a small tool to synchronize gpe-calendar with google agenda. Many people seems to use his software and he is only in the third page with a Karma of 56. So, all of this to say that i think it ll be usefull if there is a rating on software between maemo garage member to adjust Karma. Maybe it s not a good thing, maybe there are other solutions, i just made a suggestion to discuss about possibilities. But like i've said, it a great improvement for maemo community. I've also another suggestion for the public profile, does it possible to add the project where a member participate ? It's difficult at this time to find in witch projects a member is active. And if i understand, there ll be also a link with external board like internettablettalk ? Thanks again. -- Benoît HERVIER http://khertan.net/ ___ maemo-users mailing list maemo-users@maemo.org https://lists.maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-users
