It's in the extras-devel repository, add to the application catalogue:
Address: http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel
Distribution: chinook
Components: free non-free

My recommendation is when you install it, you disable that repository,
because it has 'unstable' applications.
Please, if you find some problem with maemo-wordpy, report it, thanks.

Try to desactive the 'debfarm' repository. It seems there is a problem with
this repo.

Add the following repository to your Application Manager:
Address: http://repository.maemo.org
Distro: gregale or mistral or scirocco (the version what you use)
Components: free

Install python, and deactive the previous repository, it's from the sdk
but libncurses and libreadline4 are in this repository and not in the
extras.
In these times it was more complicated to install python than now.

Uwe, you probably downloaded it from a post mine in jaiku :)

To other people who doesn't are reading my jaikus, I have compiled and
packaged a delicious statusbar applet from the maemo software public svn
(stage.maemo.org...).

I wonder why this applet doesn't was never published by them, because
it works enough well.

The link is here:

I haven't tested it with diablo, so it couldn't work or perhaps it
works.

Again, Nokia don't tried consolidate any repo, the pushing of the
extras repository was because the Maemo Comunnity want it.

I didn't see anyone complaint when it was proposed, you should have

Well, if you look at one page that isn't announced in anywhere, and
that users shouldn't look to search for information, it generally
happen that you get outdated information, as it's this the case.
Also, a static page is more difficult to update than a wiki page.

But, I encourage you to write good reports in bugs.maemo.org of things
you see than are so "fucking mess", and sure the people in the
community will do its best to fix it.

Because you are using the Diablo version, and not the Chinook one.
The logic is use Diablo repositories with Diablo.

> I had one extra repository enabled with no distribution so maybe that

If you are using Chinook, that blank line will use the Chinook
repositories, if you are using Diablo that blank line will use Diablo
repositories.
The blank distribution allow you use the right version of the
repository if you are upgrading from Chinook to Diablo. You don't
need change that line in every repository you have installed.

No, but a big No ;)
It isn't nothing recommendable mix repositories from different
versions, use SDK repositories in the devices, and so on.

The problem with Free42 is, again, a forgetful maintainer of the
software what or haven't had time to upload it to the Diablo
repositories or hasn't worried for the users.

I'll take a look and will upload a Free42 package to the Diablo
repository.

Yeah, effectively. Abiword has some serious bugs for OS2008, specially
with the N800 that doesn't have a physical keyboard, you can see a
buglist here:
http://bugzilla.abisource.com/showdependencytree.cgi?id=11451

So, it hasn't been promoted to extras because isn't a stable software

mpuzzle seems be available just for diablo (4.1.x) and probably you are
using chinook (4.0.x) and the application manager doesn't find it in
the repository.

There is just one option, you should upload your package for chinook
too, the changes among these versions are small and with little effort
it will run without problems in this version.
OK, there is other options but this is the best and saner one.

A bit more of information would be nice, for example:
* What version of Maemo are you using?
* What target are you using to launch the GUI? ARMEL or X86?

With this error I think you're running Maemo 5, and you're starting
Xephyr with -extension Composite enabled, it isn't supported in Maemo 5.
But well, this is just a guess with the information you're giving, and
the problem could be other.

Thanks.

I had thought to add support for other blogging systems, among them
blogger.com, in future versions. But if you can do a patch for blogger
it will be welcome, of course.

In the SVN is the most updated version it still has some bugs. It
has only few comments, so if you have some question you don't
hesitate to do it.

The SVN version needs flickrapi, for some flickr options, but
commenting these lines it can work without flickrapi (except the flickr
part).
Also in chinook it needs python-gtkhtml that it's in the garage
(https://garage.maemo.org/projects/python-gtkhtml2/) or in the
extras-devel repository.

Best Regards.
