RE: ustream.tv + n800 != happiness
Ah well, apparently flash can't see the camera... at least it sees the microphone. ustream.tv + n800 != happiness
Darn. I can view a live video on ustream.tv (live streaming/webcasting site using flash) but I can't use the camera to stream to it. Is the camera an v4l device? (seems like it is) I can stream to ustream using a v4l device on my linux laptop with no issues (admittedly, I'm using firefox - not opera...) Any thoughts? ___ maemo-users mailing list maemo-users@maemo.org https://lists.maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-users
[maemo-users] Using my treo for bluetooth DUN
Hey all, So I've replaced my WSOD 770 with an n800 (tigerdirect let me pay the difference to upgrade since they held the extended warranty...) I had the 770 working with my treo flawlessly... but I can't get the n800 to use it for DUN... It can "see" it, pair with it... mark it as a phone... I can set up the connection... but it doesn't offer it as a selection for network connections. I'm setting it up as a cdma phone... when I try to set it up as a GSM/UMTS it sees the connection and of course, doesn't work... Anyone else have this combo working or have advice for me? Thanks, Ron ___ maemo-users mailing list maemo-users@maemo.org https://maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-users

Apparently, from what I've learnt on this list and various web sites... the WSOD isn't software fixable. It has to do with some faulty chip and a kind of race condition that can happen with an odd power up that actually damages the screen. :P ___ maemo-users mailing list maemo-users@maemo.org https://maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-users

[maemo-users] 770 has a white screen after a reboot...
Hey All, I just flashed my 770 with SU-18_2006SE_2.2006.39-14_PR_F5_MR0_ARM.bin and it worked fine... Then, I did a restore of my data and installed the bluetooth plugin... and when the system rebooted... I could only see a slight ghost of images on a completely white background... I've tried reflashing and flashing with SU-18_2006SE_1.2006.26-8_PR_F5_MR0_ARM.bin and had no improvement... What have I done wrong? Thanks in advance for any advice/help.
