Yeah i read that too... but i do not know whether did he actually achieved that, or he hope to achieve it. the AWTExample file i found on the internettablet.com forum worked (almost) and i can see AWT window and buttons. speed wise... around 10 secs before i get it loaded. The reason I checked the plugin is that the page mentions the need for minimo browser and that he could now use his nokia with his online banks java applications. Hi, i have so far only tried some simple java binaries, and they somehow worked (pretty well) as far as i am concerned. i have however not tested/tried about any plugin for browser... have no blinking idea about this at all.. anyone else? speed wise i can sense its lag (as compared to a centrino. LOL) but from the ipaq linux experience it is still quite acceptable. regards, wahlau. I disagree, my cell phone runs java ME, I think the 770 should be able to run some version of it. There was beta port for Sharp Zaurus from Sun years ago. It was almost full Java, not complete j2se but so called Personal Profile (including AWT bindings, sound etc). Performance was acceptable. I don't know that I would want JavaSE on the 770 as it would be too heavy (which I think is what all the browser plugins use) but JavaME (Mobile Edition) would be excellent. Its the version that runs on all the various smart phones that support Java (like the blackberry) and would allow us to use all the large amount of mobile java applications out there. The 2 in particular that would be very is is Google's Mobile GMaps (google.com/gmm) and the mobile gmail client.
