Hi all. Since I've been searching for this for quite some time I'd like to announce my finding since it might help others as well:
I finally found USB-Micro-A to USB-A socket adapters via (german) Amazon: http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B001CX5G8K/ unfortunately the USB-A socket is not molded into plastic and I'd also prefer a short cable, but it is better than nothing.
